Auction LOT #3 (Blue)

This lot has STYLE FOR MILES! Metallic accents and clean, geometric shapes are the epitome of mid-century magic. These items work splendidly together and make a perfectly glamorous statement.

a.) This rocks glass with delicate gilded accents has been turned into a gorgeous, clean-burning soy-blend candle that really shows off the fantastic artwork on this Daily Racing Form collectible. The ring around the base highlights celebrated race tracks, and those names let you know it's genuine vintage!

b.) This slightly-curved 7x5 inch smoked-glass tray has lavish gold accents. It displays the names of the Kentucky Derby Winners from 1940 through 1960, and was likely made in the 1960s. All of the artwork and graphics are picked out in gold and white with a sophisticated use of negative space. It's glass, but has luckily survived over half a century without breakage. The graphics are also in quite nice condition--zoom in and see for yourself! It's a retro treasure!

The display stand is not included in the auction.

c.) These metal-framed binoculars may or may not have been used at the races, but their heft, nice quality, and impeccably-sleek style made them irrestitible as an addition to this lot, helping create a wonderful tableau.
